Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring Mental Health Techs for full-time day, evening, and night positions (7a - 3:30p and 3p - 11:30p, 11p - 7:30a) to support our Doylestown, PA campus. We are also hiring part-time day, night, and evening shifts (7a - 3:30p, 3p - 11:30p, 11p - 7:30a) This position requires an every other weekend commitment. This position offers a full-time benefits package.
The full-time positions and part-time day shift qualifies for our $2,000 sign-on bonus! ($1,500 eve/night part-time sign-on)
The Mental Health Technician participates in observing, reporting and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of nursing. Responsible to help provide a safe and secure unit environment for all patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Must be at least 21 years of age and have one of the following:
High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent. PLUS a minimum of 2 years of experience (paid or unpaid) in a human service field. This experience must involve direct contact with the individual receiving services (i.e. coaching, teaching, case management, etc.)
Or
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in an area of hum services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following psychology sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling,
elementary/special education, or family therapy
Must be compassionate about the care and safety of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Demonstrates an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders, and utilizes effective behavior management techniques to increase communication, socialization, and daily basic living skills.
In response to the current pandemic, Respiratory Fit testing is a requirement of the job.
