The Brook Hospital Dupont is seeking a Mental Health Associate to join our team:
The Mental Health Associate serves as an active member of the clinical staff; maintains a therapeutic relationship with all patients; assists in maintenance of a safe, clean, therapeutic environment; performs safety checks on patients and vital signs as ordered, assures patient participation in program activities; and performs technical/patient care duties relative to patient’s health and safety.
Second shift offers a shift differential of 7.5 % above base pay. Third shift offers a shift differential of 12% above base pay.
QualificationsEducation – High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.Years of experience needed – 3 to 5 years preferred Certifications – Must maintain current CPR certification.Computer skills – Ability to: gain training through web-based programs; participate in employee surveys; enroll in company benefits.Communication – Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors.Team work – Must be able to actively participate in a treatment team environment.Service Excellence – Consistently demonstrates all Service Excellence Standards.
