Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years.
We are currently looking for Mental Health Assistant 3rd Shift/Rotating Weekends Required to join our team of dedicated professionals. Come help us grow and make a difference in our children's life's. This role requires a full background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification.
Hermitage Hall provides a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. We make a difference in our resident’s lives, and our mental health outcomes show that our patients leave feeling better than they arrive! The Mental Health Assistant provides direct care to our residents, supervising them, directing their activity, running daily groups designed to help our residents meet their treatment goals, and demonstrating positive behaviors as a role model. A typical day could involve assisting in a classroom, helping our children paint a picture, teaching the importance of good hygiene, assisting in a clinical group, supervising while our residents are outside enjoying our 5 acre campus, or being on a housing unit while the residents enjoy some television.
