Medical Assistant

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collection of blood work taken through venipuncture
• Liaison between Black Bear Lodge and the laboratory to ensure completion of all requested services.
• Maintains the inventory of supplies for MA’s.
• Cross-trains and supports other areas of the nursing department as
• Performs chart audits
• Facilitates outside appointments for patient care
• Performs Safety Observation rounds as needed

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program; Certified or Registered.
