Responsibilities

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is an 84 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.

We are seeking to hire qualified LPN to work day and night shifts. Day shift is from 7a- 7p and Night shift is from 7p-7a.

The LPN provides nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing Services. As a key team member in the clinical area, the LPN performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited Practical School of Nursing required; Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the State of Arizona.

Experience: Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
