The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for safely completing patient medication pass, completing Q15 minute rounds and vital signs, assisting with treatment plans, medication reconciliation at discharge, weekly MAR change- over, 24 hour chart checks, and other assigned documentation.
Additionally, the LPN may be required to conduct daily nursing groups on the units and other tasks as assigned by nursing leadership.
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. Prefer one (1) year experience as an LPN. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatry nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
