Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 105 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a talented and dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse full-time for varied shifts.

The LPN is responsible for delivering quality direct patient care to children, adolescent and adult patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The LPN serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care; ensures the safety and well-being of each patient. Supervises the MHT’s as assigned. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts and Quality Management efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum: Graduate from an accredited LPN program of nursing. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Mississippi. Current CPR or BLS certification.

Preferred: One year experience in a psychiatric setting.
