Responsibilities

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Healthcare Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 30 years, serving those that struggle with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. The Cook prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes. The cook is to have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department. The cook serves meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs. In addition to regular Cook responsibilities, the Lead Cook will be responsible to place orders, staff scheduling, inventory, invoicing, covering call-offs, assisting supervisor with employee documentation, monthly financial documents, changing menus, and vendor support.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma

Experience: Food service experience preferably in a treatment center, health care of geriatric home setting.
