Intake Counselor Opportunity

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults in a secure and private setting. Our services for individuals include specialty programs for active duty military and Veterans. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Our Location:

We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy the outdoors at one of the county’s serene parks, which includes wonderful hiking trails, river rafting, and tubing. Watch the county’s wildlife and view the scenery by taking a horseback ride through one of the area’s riding trails. Considered the heart of Florida, the beautiful region is centrally located within hours of many activities. Just a drive away from some of the state’s amusement parks or beautiful Florida beaches. The county is less than two hours away from some of the state’s large metropolitan areas. From young professionals to a growing family, the area has plenty of activities for every individual.

We are looking for a qualified Intake Counselor to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals. The Vines' Intake department is an exciting atmosphere where we help patients make decisions to seek help. In the Admissions department, we work together as a team, and form a united front in the fight against suicide. With 1 in 5 adults suffering from a mental illness, the Intake Counselor must be able to adapt and flow to the ever changing needs of our patients. The Intake Counselor will triage and assess people in crisis to help determine their treatment needs. 

Hours: Full time 3:00p-11:30p, M-F

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related behavioral health field. Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
