Canyon Ridge Hospital is a leading Behavioral Health Facility located in Chino California. The hospital is part of the Universal Health Services Network of Behavioral health facilities. Our Mission is, “To be a leader in behavioral healthcare, dedicated to excellent service in the community.”

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality general and psychiatric nursing care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with emotional or psychiatric disorders; serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient. Provides leadership and assists nursing staff with problem solving regarding patient care and personnel related issues during scheduled shift. Oversees staffing and unit assignments to ensure adequate staffing in compliance with staffing and acuity guidelines.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree or Bachelors Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field: or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health setting preferred. Working knowledge of the Addiction & Recovery field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
