Valley Hospital is built on three core principles, outstanding care, compassionate people and unparalleled service. We are a private 122 bed psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health care and chemical dependency counseling services. 

Schedule: This is a Night Shift Position (7pm - 7:30am) The schedule will be 3days/4days and every other weekend

Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Intake Clinician assists the Intake Admissions Department in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Intake and Admissions. The Intake Clinical is responsible for the clinical coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Intake and Admissions department. The Intake Clinician will be required to assist the Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Master’s Degree in behavioral health field.

LMSW, LAC, or other healthcare- related licensure preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Intake/Admissions procedures preferred.

Experience working in and Intake/Admissions department preferred.
