The Corporate Human Resources Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Human Resources Intern.

The Human Resources Intern performs support tasks to improve healthcare quality and safety, improve patient care, and engage patients and their families in their healthcare.

Works on real-time and meaningful projects; develops technical skills; collaborates and networks with various teams; and receives mentorship.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Learns basic functional areas within assigned department.
• Participates in key department project work.
• Gains understanding of the UHS business model and how department functions as part of the business.
• Participates in department meetings to learn ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related degree from accredited college or university
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications ‘
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment
