POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Market Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team members to include front office operations, process control and file maintenance (electronic and paper sources). Responsible as the usual first contact for visitors, applicants and employees. Responsible to provide a positive first impression on all customers of the Human Resources department. Involved in assisting with a variety of Human Resources projects and processes. Ensure that all employee files are properly maintained in a timely manner. Demonstrate excellent communication skills verbally, face-to-face and written. Maintain a variety of spreadsheets and tracking systems and will ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

Reading and numerical competency. Completion of applicable college office management/business courses preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a healthcare office environment, with at least one (1) year of human resources and/or management experience strongly preferred.

Office management and/or secretarial certification preferred.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication (both verbal and written) skills. Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn HR Management System. Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively, multi-task and project management. Able to prioritize workflow and handle frequent interruptions well. Must demonstrate flexibility. Professionalism and appropriate confidentiality required.
