Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the House Supervisor RN. Demonstrates leadership in organizing the delivery of patient care in an acute psychiatric setting for patients experiencing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Provides continuous nursing care for patients utilizing the nursing process within the scope of practice. Executes nursing procedures according to policy. Assists Charge Nurse. Interacts with and assists in teaching patients. Functions as a therapeutic member in planning and working with patient groups. Serves as a clinical resource person for staff members in their daily activities. Documents pertinent information accurately, timely and legibly. Functions as a medication nurse when assigned. Promotes safety by attending mandatory in-services. Promotes a positive working environment by demonstrating respect and tolerance for age, gender, race and choice of lifestyle. Assumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education. Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the hospital philosophy of nursing care; to ensure safety and well-being of each patient. Supervises staff in manner that maximizes each staff member’s strengths and skills. Is a good role model for peers and those under their supervision. Evaluates the work performance of all assigned staff on an ongoing basis. Reports observations, findings to supervisor. Participates in the performance improvement programs. Prioritizes nursing care resources to ensure patient safety. Remains focused on patient-centered care during crisis situations. Provide administrative support to staff during hospital operations. They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information.

Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs.
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs.
