Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented full-time Health Information Management/Medical Records Specialist PRN.
The H.I.M. Specialist supports the medical records department through a variety of clerical, technical, and related support services. Assists other departments in their need for retrieval and management of patient information. Possesses knowledge of psychiatric clinical diagnosis and the ability to articulate those indicators professionally. The position evaluates patient medical records from admission to discharge to determine appropriate admission criteria and to ensure that there is an active treatment plan with proper and legible documentation. This position analyzes the quality of the medical records documentation and reports any deficiencies for corrective action.
