The purpose of the Executive Administrative Assistant is to provide professional level clerical support and assistance for the CEO and provide excellent customer service. This position is responsible to perform assignments and assistance as requested by CEO; manage facility contracts and the CLGA database; maintain and facilitate the Credentialing process for Willow Springs Center physicians, record regulatory facility meetings and prepare minutes and meeting materials; process invoices and payments for physicians’ services through corporate; manage petty cash fund account; and provide backup to the receptionist as needed.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in business or administration preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in an administrative capacity.
Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of general clerical procedures and excellent spelling skills required. Understanding of contracts and contract processing system. Knowledge of medical terminology and usage. Understanding of computer and software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. The ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally. The ability to record and prepare minutes for regulatory meetings. The ability to create facility employee acknowledgment items, such as flyers and award certificates. The ability to communicate effectively with various populations. The ability to prioritize heavy workloads to mitigate stress and to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion.
