Fairmount is a 239 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. We are currently hiring for a Transportation Driver position. This position consists of the transportation of Fairmount Behavioral Health patient discharging from the hospital to another location, as well as the routine pick-up and drop off our adolescent partial hospitalization patients

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to various populations including children, adolescents, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
The schedule for this position is Wednesday-Saturday 7:00am-5:30pm. To qualify for this position you must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Requires bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing and exertion of up to 50 pounds of force if necessary to assist in lifting patients or assisting patients with ambulating. Must be able to work alone and with minimal supervision; must be able to work amidst distractions such as noise and traffic; must be able to exercise self-control and make sound decisions. Must have a clean driving record as well as drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen
