Responsibilities
The Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the ‘HOPE Center,’ is a newly constructed, state of the art, 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.
We a currently looking for a Director of Social Services. In this role you will provide leadership, strategic planning and effective management of the clinical services offered at the facility to support the delivery of quality behavioral health care and service to patients in the acute inpatient and outpatient setting. Assists the Facility Administrator in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to support and meet the needs of patients, the community and continued growth and to maintain and support compliance with the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Maintains effective working relationships with physicians, directors, managers and line staff to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care.
LCSW/LMFT required!

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of social work, or related mental health field; LCSW/LMFT required.
Experience: Preferred of five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice
License: Appropriate state licensure/credentials as a health professional, and a valid driver’s license is required.
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, NAPHS, Title XXII, CMS, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
