UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES (LCSW or LPC) FT Near SAN ANTONIO, TX

Responsibilities

OPPORTUNITY – Director of O/P Services (FT)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of PHP, IOP and ECT.
  • Manages the financial operations of all outpatient programs to include FTE management and cost control.
  • Leads both internal and external business development efforts to grow program volume.
  • Monitors Performance Improvement indicators and develops operational plans to address negative variances.
  • Ensures high quality of clinical care is maintained in all outpatient programs and exceeds regulatory agency quality environments.
  • Maintains and facilitates relationships with all shareholders for outpatient programs to include therapists, physicians, nurses, and referral sources.
  • Maintains and exceeds compliance with all regulatory agencies including The Joint Commission and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
  • Responsible for all staff assignments and schedules.
  • Attends and participates in all necessary executive meetings.
  • Advocates for patients by processing any grievances generated by patients, their guardians, or families.
  • Ensures that all hospital Policies and Procedures are followed and kept up to date.
  • Provides or arranges the provision of necessary clinical education for all staff members.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven leadership and management ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Informed clinical programming knowledge.
  • Established program development and marketing skills.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related experience.

    Licensure: LCSW (preferred) or LPC.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferentially with psychiatric population and 2 years of supervisory experience.

    WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm (so weekends possible)
