Responsibilities

Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed, freestanding psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Cedar Hills Hospital provides a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for a Part Time Dietitian. Our Dietician approves menus including modified diets and provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree
• Experience: Minimum three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning.
• Additional Requirements: Registration with the American Dietetic Association and state licensure required.
• Training: Successful completion of Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
