Registered Dietician Opportunity - Part Time

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Dietitian provides nutrition care of inpatients and outpatients through the use of assessment and implementation of nutrition care. This is a part time, 24 hour per week. 

Responsibilities:

• Instructs individuals and/or groups on normal and/or therapeutic nutrition
• Provides resources for nutrition information
• Implements procedures that support or attain departmental goals and objectives

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a major in food nutrition
• Currently registered or eligible for registration with the American Dietetic Association
• Licensed by the state of Massachusetts
• One or more year(s) of experience as a clinicial dietitian preferred
• Must possess emotional resources to maintain good working interpersonal relationships and be able to relate to acutely ill patients
