Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Director of Nutritional Services, the clinical dietitian is responsible for providing daily in-patient nutritional care through screening/assessment of patients and nutrition consultation as well as carrying out nutrition education for in and outpatients of this community. Other duties may include but are not limited to policy and procedure development; inservice/competency education development for staff; daily supervision of diet office staff and functions; support department performance improvement plan; attending routine meetings and or interdisciplinary rounds, as requested by supervisor.
Bachelor degree in Dietetics or related field required.
Current BLS (CPR) Certificate Required.
Previous experience preferred.
Registered Dietitian with the commission on dietetic registration or registry eligible as a registered dietitian (must pass exam within 3 months of hire).
