UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a Community Liaison Near MANSFIELD, OH

Responsibilities

The Community Liaison is responsible for advocating for Residential Treatment Services for at-risk youth who may otherwise experience long term psychiatric hospitalization or incarceration. The Community Liaison is assigned a territory to promote a local residential treatment center and then strategically develops and manages accounts within the territory by servicing customer calls, referrals, and inquiries This position requires a strong focus on digital media marketing to better connect with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messaging as marketing channels. Qualified candidates must possess a high regard for the quality of life of children, their families, and customer relations/service. Additional, job responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data/service trends that are relevant to the development and successful execution of a strategic plan.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    • Work history includes at least two years experience in marketing/sales/business development and/or in a social services environment (case management, probation, residential). Associates degree in Human Services or related field or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, P.R., or communications preferred. Skilled in a sales discipline that is applicable to a service oriented industry. Able to efficiently plan statewide travel activity. Computer skills require proficiency of the internet, email, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point.
  • KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
    • Insight into the range of marketing activities to include planning, surveys, relationship management and public relations. Well developed communication skills.
  • CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
    • Valid state driver’s license with appropriate endorsement.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, administrators, probation officers, judges, customers and the general public.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Use of computer spreadsheet programs
  • REASONING ABILITY
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency situation and make independent decisions.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT
    • The work environment for this position will consist of the employees home and a residential treatment facility. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be exposed to clients who may ask inappropriate personal questions, display socially unacceptable personal behaviors, use profanity and sexually explicit phrases, make insulting remarks or threats regarding appearance, age, sex, or race and exhibit defiance, dishonesty and assautive or self destructive behaviors. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and will be subject to travel as required by facility needs. The noise level in this work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
