Mayhill Hospital located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is a 59-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. We are one of the few facilities in the area that can provide care to those individuals with both coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions. We are uniquely trained to provide care to seniors who have exhausted their psychiatric days. It is our goal to provide compassionate care to those individuals living with mental illness so they can live their life to the fullest.

Position Summary

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for the marketing and outreach of facility clinical services. This postion will make recommendations on the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associates degree from an accredited professional school of nursing (BSN preferred) or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a related clinical mental health field.

Experience: Two or more years’ experience working in a licensed capacity in adult or geriatric community settings. Experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results is preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas State Board of Nursing or licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council in social work or a related clinical mental health field (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-Associate, LPC, LPC-S, or LMFT). Must have a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
