Position Purpose: The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist will follow the coordinated and developed comprehensive therapeutic recreation program, including assisting patients with developing, maintaining, and expressing an appropriate leisure lifestyle. Licenses or Certifications:
Certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). Current CPR and CPI certifications, or must obtain within 90-days of hire.
Total education, vocational training and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field from an accredited college or university.
