Independence Physician Management (IPM) was formed in 2012 as a separate and distinct physician practice management unit of Universal Health Services (UHS). Operating as a subsidiary of UHS, with more than 140 locations nationwide. IPM is dedicated to the support and service of acute care facilities, with limited services to behavioral health.
