Responsibilities

Call Center Specialist - Full Time

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 105 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. Brentwood is seeking a dependable and dynamic Call Center Specialist Full Time.

This shift opening is for weekdays Monday through Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Call Center Specialist received Intake calls and unplanned individual/family walk-ins with compassion, empathy, a sense of service and urgency, and ensures each person receives an appropriate assessment by Assessment and Referral. Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and other Assessment and Referral NARC-related paperwork is a critical component of this position. Must be capable of triage care for incoming patients.

Qualifications

Preferred: Two years’ experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).

Minimum: High school graduate and 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric, CD inpatient, residential or group home setting OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
