Responsibilities

Behavioral Health Connections- Atlanta, part of Universal Health Services is seeking a dynamic and talented PT- Call Center Specialist

REMOTE POSITION

Part-Time Days

Behavioral Health Connections provides 24-7 on demand comprehensive mental health services to include: mobile assessments, tele-video assessments, and tele-video psychiatric consultations for patients in medical facilities. All services focus on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition of patients needing mental health evaluation, recommendation and care. Psychiatric consultation services can be delivered in all cities via tele-video.

In keeping with our organization’s service excellence approach, we work to enhance the quality of service to our referral sources by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals. The Call Center Specialist is responsible for upholding this level of service through the calls received from our referral sources for psychiatric assessment, takes demographic information on the person to be assessed, and dispatches a Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator. Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and other related paperwork is a critical component of the job.

Qualifications

Advance Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth, and development.

At Least 1 year of crisis and behavior management.

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Pshychology, Social Services field preferred.
