Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) is a fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility located in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We offer full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Join us as we provide high-quality care to patients and their families from across the country.

We are currently looking to hire someone who can work part-time, Sunday, 7am - 3:30pm, Wednesday, Thursday, 3pm - 11:30pm (24 hrs/week). Or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 3pm - 11:30pm (40 hrs/week). This FT schedule includes a $3.00/hr. schedule premium.

Qualifications

Our Behavioral Health Workers are mental health employees who provide hands-on care to individuals with varying degrees of mental illnesses. Our Behavioral Health Workers perform a vital, front-line function as they observe, treat and interact with patients. This position serves as the eyes, ears and hands of the diagnosing professionals. They report on how the treatment is working or any unusual symptoms that need professional attention.

Behavioral Health Worker Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-18yrs.
• Must be 21 years old
