Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the treatment team. The BHT will also ensure clinical excellence, safety, and crisis management of patient population by direct support to the patient.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years.
Previous experience in training and developing other staff members is psychiatric patient care techniques or at least one year of experience performing similar duties preferred.
Current CPR or BLS certification.
Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
