We have a fulltime position for a compassionate caring therapist who enjoys working with adolescent behavioral health patients. The Program Therapist performs social service functions to include assisting clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services for consumers/families receiving care. The clinical social services provided includes crisis intervention, individual therapy, short and/or long-term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning. The Program Therapist serves as an integral member of the treatment team and is also responsible for case management of consumer's internal/external support systems.
Master's Degree in social work, clinical counseling, or mental health services field is required. A minimum of two years of experience in an behavioral healthcare facility, with direct experience in individual, family, group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills is preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills, with majority of experience focused on the child/adolescent population. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LMSW, MSW or LPC is required within 2 years of employment. Certified in Expressive Therapy preferred
