Pharmacy Technician provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist and patients.

Some positions may require you travel and work at different facilities.

Work Schedule: Full time, Part time and PRN, Rotating Shifts, We offer shift differentials and PRN differentials!

Responsibilities:

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems and/or processes incoming prescriptions. Repackages bulk medications. May be responsible for sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Fills medication carts on a daily basis and/or processes and fills prescription orders.
  
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department and/or assists with shelving and stocking of medications
  
• Audits medication inventory for expiration.
  
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  
• Required Licensure/Certification: PHATP (Pharmacy Technician Provisional) certification from State Board of Pharmacy. PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy within 18 months of hire.
  
• No experience required, prefer previous experience with infusion/oncology and/or IV admixture.

The pay range for this position is: $19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
