Located just outside the Universal Orlando™ theme parks, our Lakewood Regional Support Facility serves as the central operation for all our on-site hotels. Lakewood provides resources to the hotels for various departments, including Human Resources, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Telecommunications, Technology and Laundry. Overview: The Applications Analyst role is to deliver support to end users on various types of systems, including software/hardware. An Analyst will assist different technology managers on an entry level. This will include networking, Point of sale, and setting up hardware for meeting events. Daily task will range from password resets to vendor support calls on system issues. Required: Thorough knowledge and understanding of computer software to include Windows 10, MS Office 2016, Outlook 2016. One or more years experience as a computer technician (Hospitality a plus). Ability to analyze and resolve problems, report to management as needed. Ability to follow system logs, monitor system and assist users as needed. Effective organizational, communication (oral/written) skills and telephone skills. Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, nightshift. Job Description: Support user request/issue via chat, email, phone, or in person. Provide appropriate information for problem solving to assist callers. Follow up on all pending support calls to ensure solution and closure of tickets. Install or change software to fix issues. Remotely access systems to resolve user issues. Communicate issues and problems reported to the Technology Department and escalate to the Help Desk Manager or the appropriate management representative. Attends all required departmental/helpdesk meetings/training. Reports any anomalies to the appropriate management representative as they arise. Installs Hardware/Software such as network printers or programs. Maintains PC and peripheral devices necessary to ensure the operation, availability and security or network and computer systems. Duties may require travel amongst all LHUO properties. Other duties as assigned. Provide basic to intermediate network information to resolve network issue. Education: Bachelor's degree Information Technology or related field. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Information Technology related certifications.
