UBER is Hiring a Business Systems Program Manager Near San Francisco, CA

We provide systems for compliance, data reliability, audit and ensure timely availability of business critical data. This group is in the critical path to enable Uber to become a world class business operation and at the groundbreaking of operational excellence.

As the Business Systems Program Manager you will help envision and complete Fintech level cross functional programs to enable an accurate, streamlined accounting and financial close process worldwide. You will be responsible to ensure overall metrics and business impact is realized for your programs. Your performance is measured for bringing in positive impact by seamlessly driving the projects and by your ability to lead and inspire a hard-working cross-functional team that includes Product, Engineering, Accounting, Finance and Operations.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Work with FinTech Product leaders and cross functional business teams to get a deep understanding of the processes and data flows, and translate business requirements into functional design specifications
  • Manage communications, deliverables across various portfolios and help solve for delivery challenges
  • Work closely with cross functional FinTech leads for long-term balanced and scalable processes across multiple systems
  • Work with Engineering and Technology Program Managers to track delivery for system solutions and influence the direction of platform
  • Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing and conduct end-user training for various cross functional system initiatives
  • You have subject matter familiarity with various core finance business functions in finance. Core product experience will be preferred.
  • You can run your own queries, analyze data to fix or define problems.
  • You are an effective communicator at all levels of the organization
  • You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and seek something hands-on
  • You have the ability to allocate time optimally across multiple opposing priorities
  • Collaboration and leadership skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years business analysis combined with program management experience working with financial systems
  • You have experience in deploying financial application projects globally
  • You have a track record of driving programs/projects to meet business requirements and ambitious delivery dates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Your Business Analysis instincts are matched by your modesty and willingness to problem-solve with others
  • You have solid understanding of managing deliverables in a controls environment, basic program management and change manage skills
  • You are passionate about improving processes and articulate to collaborators using various tools and techniques process flows, data flows, business use cases etc.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $153,000 per year - $170,000 per year.
