As a Technician 1 supporting Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work at the John's Creek, Georgia location in the US. In this role, a typical day will include: The Technician 1 – Distribution Picks replenishments and delivers them to the distribution areas by using a cherry picker forklift. Drives a forklift truck, cherry picker, and/or motorized pallet jack equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following key responsibilities. Pick, stock, and pack in an accurate, safe, productive, and professional manner. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forklift, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting devices. Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Inventories materials on the work floor. Ensures inventory integrity in the pick locations through cycle count process. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Preferred: Can drive a forklift WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: High School Diploma or equivalent. The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
