POSITION SUMMARY Develop sales territory to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line within our car dealership channel. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop sales territory to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line Maintain outstanding levels of customer service Keep customer current with updated pricing information Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales Maintain accurate and up-to-date files relating to customer contact, details, and promotional activities Assess and monitor competition in territory identify potential and/or lost business Drive to customer locations to sell products & services, establish relationships and solve problems Determine customer requirements for new products and services, and introduce new products to on-going accounts Develop additional and new profitable business in specified markets, territories, and/or customer segments through inbound or outbound telephone calls to customers Process accepted orders, maintain accurate daily records, and provide necessary follow-up Inform designated company sales personnel of potential sales leads, accepted orders and quotations Maintain an in depth knowledge of company products Assist with marketing and promotional designs Consistent Growth within territory in units and dollars Knowledge of manufacturer programs and ability to help customers attain program requirements and maximize payouts Self-starter who has the ability to plan and execute a strategic plan Become a brand champion that can assist colleagues and customers with product and program knowledge Develop customer specific programs that can increase our market share with dealers Strong industry knowledge and relationships with dealers and manufacturer partners QUALIFICATIONS 5 years related industry sales or customer service experience with demonstrated profitable sales experience Valid driver’s license and good driving record Advanced knowledge of the related industry with application, technical, managerial experience a plus Ability to make key customer decisions Attention to detail and deadlines Good listener and strong written and verbal communicator Entrepreneurial, goal driven, action oriented, self-motivated Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open minded manner Well organized and represent the company in a professional manner Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships Ability to project a positive image to customers Related degree is a plus Basic computer knowledge, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Advanced computer skills, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Our company is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
