U.S. Pacific Fleet is Hiring a CONTRACT SPECIALIST Near Naval Station Complex, CA

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Qualifications:

For the GS-12: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Contract Specialist performing contracting functions (e.g., contract modifications, negations, pre/post award activities, solicitations, proposals) to administer contracts and authorize funds for the procurement of supplies or services for an organization.

For the GS-11:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Contract Specialist applying contract and procurement regulations to prepare solicitations associated with the acquisition of supplies and services.

For the GS-09:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Contract Specialist assembling contracts and performing limited contract administration.

For the GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Contract Specialist assisting with contracting functions to support the assembly of contracts and performing limited contract administration.
