POSITION OVERVIEW: Support the U.S. Chamber of Commerce vice president of FP&A serving as a financial analyst and business partner to division business leaders, reporting financial performance based on key performance indicators, and developing analysis to support leaders in driving revenue growth, cost management, and cash collections. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide finance leaders and business leaders with analytics to improve the leadership team’s ability to guide the business and achieve or exceed financial targets. Ability to provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historical and projected financial performance to the business leaders. Collaborate with division business leaders to develop forecasts and annual financial targets. Own part of the annual budget process as well as the monthly forecast. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related area. 5-6 years of strong financial operations and financial planning and analysis experience. Excellent analytical ability, working daily with systems and data sources to develop analytics to support business objectives. A drive to continually improve processes and data analytics. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid presentation skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines. Experience with developing an annual operating plan, including revenue, operating expenses, and operating margin. Advanced MS Excel functions and MS PowerPoint.
