Key Responsibilities:
Partner with data analytics team and key stakeholders to understand data requirements
Design and develop robust and performant data models and data ingestion and transformation pipelines for data warehouse
Design, analyze, and create complex SQL queries that are performant
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to add new data sources for data warehouse
Improve the reliability and scalability of ETL pipelines and related data infrastructure
Implement data quality monitoring checks and promote operational excellence best practices
Identify and select the right tools and frameworks for the job
Be an owner and a champion of data platform quality, performance, and integrity
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to six years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
5 years of professional data engineering or software engineering experience
Experience in Java or similar object oriented programming languages
Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure using AWS
5 years of experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience working with data warehouse, data modeling, ETL pipelines, and OLAP
Experience working with NoSQL databases
Experience working with BI and data visualization tools
Experience with BigQuery is a plus
Experience in financial services, payments, or processing is a plus
Professional communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
