Description

Warehouse Associate - Packer is responsible for the production and/or packaging of manufactured products. .

Responsibilities:

• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
• Move product and inventory using a pallet jack
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow set safety regulations

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Work will involve some repetitive motions to include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of products and product containers
• Due to the environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Requirements

• Must be available to start immediately
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts of 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
• Maintain the production pace of other team members
• Possess basic mathematical skills
