Tyndale’s CFO is key in developing, monitoring, and evaluating overall corporate financial strategy across the US and Canada. Our CFO is responsible for all strategic financial planning and execution, risk management, and is a leading contributor to the success and growth of our company.
Hybrid/Remote: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance; this opportunity requires onsite work 2-3 days a week working from a home office the remainder of the week. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial strategies for the company providing direction and guidance on Tyndale’s expansion and growth opportunities as they relate to Finance.
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management and currency changes.
- Analyze complex financial data, prepare financial reports, and make recommendations to leadership.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to define the company’s financial strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the company’s financial systems are robust, conform to regulations, support current activities, and are ready for future growth; implement and maintain audited financial statement reporting.
- Identify and manage business risks.
- Represent the company to investors, financial partners, and the public, providing timely, accurate, and clearly understandable financial information.
- Ownership of the relationships with Tyndale’s bank, outside accounting firm, legal firms, and other financially- or compliance-associated vendors.
Qualifications:
- MBA or related advanced degree is required.
- A certified public accountant (CPA) designation or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is required.
- Working knowledge of US and Canadian financial and accounting legislations.
- Proven experience as a CFO, ideally in a mid-sized manufacturing and/or distribution business or equivalent experience. .
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience, with a track record in strategic planning and organizational development.
- Working knowledge of the manufacturing sector, particularly industrial uniform distribution, is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Upscale professional dress and appearance when working on-site is required.
