To add to our growth, we are seeking a [Senior Revenue Accountant] to contribute their expertise to our finance team. The position will report to the [Director Global OTC]. This is a hands-on position that will perform essential accounting duties such as preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial accounting, has worked in fast-paced environment, is adaptable to change, and is capable of helping to create and operate controlled scalable processes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Full ownership for all pharma revenue accounting processes
• Work closely with teams outside of finance to gather inputs to support revenue recognition
• Review customer contracts and ensure proper completion of contract review documentation in compliance with ASC 606
• Reconcile revenue integrations between various platforms
• Prepare and distribute monthly revenue reporting package to leadership
• Maintain financial reporting calendar for pharma revenue to inform parties of necessary reporting deadlines
• Prepare journal entry support that is accurate and a in accordance with ASC 606 and corporate financial policies
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure proper balance sheet valuation
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize and streamline processes, including the documentation of the standard operating procedures
• Prepare detailed schedules and support as requested by outside auditors in conjunction with quarterly and annual financial reviews and audits
• Maintain collaborative relationships with business partners and accounting peers to address information reporting needs
• Apply principles of accounting and maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP, Company policies and internal controls
• Support management in completing special projects as assigned and be a financial reporting resource for ad-hoc questions and initiatives

What You Will Bring to the Team

• BS/BA in Accounting
• 7 years of experience in an accounting role, including a mix of public accounting and / or industry backgrounds
• Strong BioPharma / Life Sciences manufacturing accounting background, CPA preferred
• Interpersonal skills as this position will interact with employees from staff to executives in other departments within the business
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, take ownership, deliver on commitments
• Must be team player as teamwork and collaboration are one our core values

• Industry experience: Bioscience, pharmaceutical, technology, or laboratory services
• Public company experience
• SAP experience
• International and multi-site experience
• Experience working in rapid, start-up-like environment
