Job Description


The Payroll Manager will be an essential part of our team. There is an opportunity to effect change and build a payroll department the way you always wanted to see it done. You will be building a world class payroll department while working cross-functionally across the organization. 


  • Process all payroll (semi-monthly & bi-weekly) procedures including earnings, garnishments, tax withholding, bonus payments, payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of payroll taxes, payments, and other statutory information requests (DOL) in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers (ADP, etc.).
  • Responsible for on-going maintenance and design specifications for ADP system updates.
  • Identify and coordinate changes in policy and procedures governed by federal, state, and local laws that affect the domestic payroll function.
  • Assist with process improvements and recommended updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Responsible for compliance and oversee the accuracy of annual W-2s provided to employees and coordinate with Tax, HR, and third-party payroll processor throughout the tax year to ensure employees are taxed appropriate in each pay period.
  • Responsible for benefit administration support including, reviewing connection file feeds, monthly billing preparation and reconciliation, reviewing from ADP and invoices.
  • Serve as the main point for ADP regarding wage payments and tax related issues; serve as the main point of contact for government and regulatory agencies as it relates to payroll matters.
  • Prepare both routine and ad hoc financial reports and reconciliations/analyses.
  • Work closely with Human Resources Department


  • Working knowledge of ADP Workforce, and payroll tax filings is required.
  • Technical Knowledge – tax withholding and reporting regulations, payroll tax accounting.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality, with superior attention to detail.
  • Strong process and procedure orientation for continuous process improvements.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and GSuite applications.
  • 7 years of multi-state payroll experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable work experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills
  • Possess creative thinking and ability to resolve issues
  • Strong attention to detail
