TWG Development, Construction, Property Management is Hiring a Project Manager Near Murray, UT

Description

Job Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining an accurate project budget and ensuring budget and municipality compliance for multi-family projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the financial outcome of construction project from initial budget to project closeout.
  • Analyze and forecast construction project costs, profits and exposures, and manage project costs through evaluation of materials, equipment and labor.
  • Monitor project status and maintain administrative control to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with the contract and TWG’s expectations.
  • Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are effectively completed.
  • Negotiate and issue subcontracts and purchase orders within limits of authority. Fair bid practices are always to be followed and maintained.
  • Participate and attend pre-construction, pre-install, scheduling, safety and progress status meetings.
  • Compile monthly cost reports to accurately reflect how the project is tracking for completion.
  • Review and approve monthly payment of subcontractors and suppliers along with weekly invoices.
  • Identify project constraints and opportunities for efficiency.
  • Identify, communicate and resolve subcontracting issues.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in multifamily construction
  • Experience with wood frame, stick build, podium, masonry and other various build types
  • A demonstrated understanding of multifamily constructions methods and means
  • Proficient in MS Office, Viewpoint, Bluebeam and PlanGrid
  • Ability to act as a leader to TWG team members and subcontractors
