Position Available
Job Title: Senior Test Engineer
Job Duties: Meet test objectives by determining testing methods (EMC, Wireless, etc.) and selecting testing equipment. Interpret and apply applicable test standards. Perform tests for certification of equipment to applicable domestic or international regulatory standards and regulatory compliance regulations; advise customer of non-compliance. Develop test strategies and test plans to verify standards, compatibility, functionality performance and reliability. Validate proper design and operations of product features as defined by functional specifications.
Work Location: Fremont, CA
Hours/Week: 40 (Full-time)
Salary Range: $109,720-$110,720
Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of related test engineering experience required, including experience with Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing and RF/Wireless testing (Bluetooth, ZigBee, 802.11, Wi-Fi, RFID and Wimax to R&TTE and FCC). Brief domestic travel required.
