Looking for a qualified individual with a strong IT background, time management, and excellent verbal/written communication and analytical skills to join a growing team of IT Professionals specializing in providing managed IT services to small and medium sized businesses. This position requires solving problems and making routine decisions. Additional Details

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (Tier 1/Tier 2) to join our quickly growing Managed Service team.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment involving collaboration within the department and with other departments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 implementation and support
  • Familiarity with administration of various Firewalls, Switches and Wireless Access Points along with Cyber Security technical knowledge
  • Experience managing backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Manage day-to-day tickets, assigned projects and any additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of PC/Server problems either on-site or via remote access.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, help desk tickets, and/or emails regarding PC and/or hardware problems.
  • Work with end-users in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software and some basic network support issues.
  • Communicate with customers to keep them apprised on the status of requests.
  • Research and resolve problems.
  • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information; adhere to company security policies.
  • Develop an understanding for system environments and maintain technical expertise.
  • Provide quality customer care in a fast and efficient manner.
  • Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Highly responsive and sensitive to deadlines.
  • Follow-up and follow through.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates for this role will have:

  • 2 years of experience in the support of a variety of Microsoft networks for small and mid-size businesses.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology or have equivalent IT support experience, certifications, and/or training.
  • Relative industry certifications including:
  • CompTIA (Network , Security ) (Preferred)
  • Microsoft and Azure Windows certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCP)
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar ticketing system for time and record keeping.
  • Excellent customer service skills and initiative to go the extra mile for our clients and team members.
