The Corporate Accountant at TURBOCAM is an exciting, cross functional role delivering on accounting responsibilities that intersect with many departments within TURBOCAM. This role is primarily responsible for the execution of Corporate budgeting, allocations, and reporting, Cost Accounting, ERP financial module support, Capital Asset purchase and record keeping, and coordinating the monthly close. Interaction with all levels of the business across all international locations.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the annual budgets for Corporate Departments, quarterly reviews of same, guiding managers to pinpoint opportunities and areas for improvement in cost efficiency.
• Manages the Capital Asset Purchasing Process to ensure accurate cost capture, robust record keeping, and correct allocation of TURBOCAM assets.
• Collaborates with Accounting Managers to ensure a timely monthly close.
• Manages the monthly allocation of corporate, intradepartmental, and intercompany costs across Turbocam USA.
• Grows into an ERP Financial Subject-Matter Expert (SME), working with the Director of FP&A to provide user support and work on the finance and accounting areas of implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Works closely with external auditors to provide needed data, reporting, and analysis, to deliver a timely and accurate financial audit.
• Establishes accurate and current product costs within ERP, provides analysis of part profitability, and helps operational managers better facilitate decisions and assist with process improvement.
• Designs and implements process in areas of responsibility, including work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
• General office work: filing, copying, writing letters, and research as needed.
• Performs other duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or relevant experience, required.
• Related experience in an office/manufacturing environment desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and their application to a manufacturing business.
• General computer background.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment helpful.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, Windows, and the use of the internet and its resources.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.
