Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION Materials coordinators are responsible for a broad range of duties related to inventory management and the oversight of products and materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for ensuring services that include, but are not limited to segregating, checking documenation for accuracy, determining transportation mode, packaging, marking and labeling in accordance with standards and special packaging instructions, Technical Order references, certifying hazardous cargo shipments, preparing all shipping documentation and Report of Shipment. Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities and the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. Ability to safeguard all government property/facilities and provide adequate resource protection to prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage and accidental damage, including used controlled forms. Must not pose a potential threat to the health, safety, security and general wellbeing or operational mission of the installation and its population. Present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times, unless precluded by assigned work. Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who takes initiative in problem resolution, and follow-through for non-routine issues. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent 5 years previous experience in logistics management or coordination Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred Must be able to pass a drug test, and have, or be able to obtain, a DoD National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) Interim Secret Security Clearance within 90 days from date of hire.
