TULA Skincare is Hiring a Remote Regulatory Manager

Regulatory Manager

The Operations team at TULA is growing, and we are looking for a Regulatory Manager to lead market/product regulatory compliance. In this role, you will own the regulatory function for the Company. This role reports to the Director of Quality & Regulatory and will be fully remote.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own Regulatory function globally for TULA. Maintain knowledge of all market regulatory compliance considerations and help to lead the strategic decision making process for the Company as we expand internationally.
  • Work directly with outside consultants to ensure all market regulatory considerations are made known to the TULA executive team to share and guide TULA’s overall compliance strategy.
  • Own the project management and timelines related to gaining proper market compliance across key international markets to ensure the Company can launch future international markets on time and in the right way.
  • Provide review, comments and approval of all product labels/labeling for region, country and local regulatory compliance.
  • Provide review, comments and approval of all product claims for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance in local and international markets.
  • Offer alternative solutions and risk levels with business consequences as needed
  • Review raw material compositions and conformity of ingredients depending on product type/usage to relay back to Global counterparts
  • Review ingredient lists for compliance.
  • Collect documentation, and maintain PIFs. Manage notification and registration submissions for launches, including, but not limited to, Health Canada, UK CPNP, EU CPNP, US FDA, WERCS
  • Monitor and prepare summary reports and/or presentations of all new and changing federal, state and international regulations/legislation internally and with cross functional partners
  • Prepare and update regulatory procedures like SOPs

Qualifications: 

  • At least 5 years of regulatory experience in the cosmetic and OTC industry
  • Experience registering and launching in international markets (Including, but not limited to, Canada, UK, EU, China, and Australia)
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Must be a proactive team player skilled in communicating with all key stakeholders across multiple departments and management levels
