TULA Skincare is Hiring a Remote Manager, Inventory Planning

TULA is looking to add a Manager, Inventory/Demand Planning that will sit within the Inventory Planning pillar of the Global Supply Chain. This role will own the end to end Demand Planning process for select omni-channel customers, develop and implement best practices related to data and product life cycle management and ensure SKUs are able to be effectively demand/supply planned and reported on by the business. The role reports to the Senior Director, Inventory Planning. The Manager, Inventory Planning will help to improve the current state while developing solutions that are scalable as Tula rapidly expands in product, geographic and channel complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and Maintain SKU level market/channel/DC/key account forecasts in the Demandcaster forecasting platform as part of a monthly cycle and ensure demand reasonability across portfolio (level and mix). 
  • Partner with commercial teams to shape demand via drivers to ensure demand plans are aligned with commercial strategies and communicate upside, risks or opportunities to stakeholders in the Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Finance teams.
  • Responsible for the monthly Replenishment order monitoring and approval.
  • Forecast sell-through and shipments using a combination of statistical models and driver-based enrichment, carefully monitoring results and alignment to limit fill rate or excess inventory risks.
  • Partner with the Operations team to ensure that we are achieving optimal levels of inventory across the entire product portfolio and 3PLs.
  • Prepare and assess various reports - analyses and KPIs (key performance indicators) - to evaluate plans and recommend adjustments to drive greater accuracy.
  • Prepare, maintain and publish new launch performance reports to monitor performance and drive adjustments and ad hoc reporting to support Global team, Finance, Supply, Sales and Marketing within ongoing management of their business areas
  • Assist with preparing for SIOP cycle meetings including Demand Reviews and Consensus Forecast Alignment meetings
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to assist partners across Global, Finance, Supply, Sales and Marketing within ongoing management of their business areas.
  • Monitor and manage product data throughout the sku lifecycle including code creation for new launches, setup in our Advance Planning system (DemandCaster), sku transformation, and discontinuation.
  • Partner with business owners to ensure master data readiness (SKU, UPC, pricing, vendor, costing, etc) leading up to commercialization. Facilitate improved ways of working and ownership of item fields.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in related roles, Demand/Inventory Planning, Forecasting
  • Beauty or Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience and high SKU driven company, a plus.
  • Strong understanding of how master data drives planning and reporting activities.
  • Exposure to advanced planning and ERP platforms, NetSuite and DemandCaster experience a plus
  • High proficiency in handling and updating large data (Excel vlookups, hlookups, index, match, etc).
  • Strong project management skills and cross-functional communication skills.
